The Minievent ''The Elder's Letter'' was launched with the maintenance on December 4, 2018.
What you have to do is fairly simple, on the bottom left corner of your screen there will be a new Icon to receive the Elders Letter
(this letter might also be automatically in your inventory upon your first log in).
Click on it in your inventory to start the quest.
Once you have started the quest, you will be told to visit Two Crowns, Diamond Shores or Solis Headlands and report to the elder.
Once talked to him, , he will give you the Quest to go and kill 3 Seabugs, those you can find very easily on the ocean.
He will also give you a ''Wrapped Lusca Hunting Harpoon''. I would advise you to NOT open this harpoon just yet, as it functions like any other tradepack on your back.
Kill the seabugs and talk to the eldery man again, he will reward you with a Sea Coin.
Now to your next task, killing Luscas... here be cautious: This harpoon functions as a harpoon just like for GR. Some movements might be restricted.
To access the next quest you will have to unwrap this harpoon and then talk to the Eldery Man again, I would strictly advise you to unwrap the harpoon in Diamond Shores next to the Luscas/Abyssal Portals of your faction base, there will be a Eldery Man there aswell.
He will give you the task to travel to the Sea of Graves and kill Luscas using the special skill that will be unlocked once carrying the Luscas Hunting Harpoon.
Once you arrived you will notice a special skill which you now can use, all you have to do is Target a Lusca and use the special skill on your Luscas Hunting Harpoon to make it count for the quest.
Caution: Once you drop your harpoon on the ground it has a 5minute timer before it will dissapear.
The Sea coins you are able to exchange on Mirage Isle for various rewards such as a Crest Storage for your ships.
